Captain Subaknown on land as Jeffrey L. Jones has been commandin’ boats since 1994 and sailing the Florida waters for more than four decades. With a 100-ton captain’s license and thousands of miles beneath his keel, he’s explored nearly every harbor from South Carolina to the Virgin Islands.
He spent 11 years living aboard his own boat in Marathon, sailed to St. Maarten, and returned to the Keys to continue doing what he loves most — blending adventure, faith, and island living into a life worth writing about.
